Welcome Home, Troops

At DFW gate B37, under a banner that reads, “We are proud of you” two hundred and two American soldiers returned home from Iraq this morning. A friend who regularly greets the returning soldiers said today’s throng of grateful well wishers was the largest he had ever seen. Quite fitting for Memorial Day 2008. Quite fitting, indeed.
