Michael Williams leads Democrats in U.S. Senate poll

Commissioner Michael Williams leads both potential Democratic opponents in the latest U.S. Senate poll conducted by the University of Texas Government Department.  This is consistent with the early momentum we are seeing for Commissioner Williams.  And it reinforces what we already knew: Michael is popular among voters and Michael can beat the Democrats and keep this seat in Republican hands.

Also notable from the poll, when asked what are the most important problems facing Texas, those polled responded:

  1. Economy and jobs - 32%
  2. Immigration and border security - 25%
